"Song-ography, 'I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas' ...

"I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the one's I use to know
Where the treetops glisten and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow...

"White Christmas"
(my sun room)

...I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white."

-White Christmas (Irving Berlin)

I live in Pennsylvania.  It is December.  This is NOT normal.  I've had to open my windows this past week while decorating and baking Christmas cookies because it's been so dang warm.  DREAMING of a White Christmas is probably about as close as I'm gonna get to the real thing this year. Somewhere Al Gore must be smiling from ear to ear.  Bah humbug!

Welcome back to another Tuesday, and another Song-ography.  Greetings to all who join in the fun.  And for those who haven't, seriously...the "rules" are pretty simple:

Song/Lyrics + Photo(s) = Song-ography

Oh yeah, one more thing.  Please take some time to visit a few of the other Song-ographers who link up.  I'm sure they will appreciate it, and I'M sure you'll be inspired by their creativity.   Mucho gracias!

  1. Wow, that is unusual for Pennsylvania, isn't it? We had a long dry spell here in the Pacific Northwest, but now we are getting rain, rain, rain, rain!

  5. Hi,

we saw your nice picture of Poinsettia. Here in Central Europe it is the same: no snow, very warm and hazelnuttrees that bloom like in spring.

  7. I know - so odd. No coat for me today! Someone just told me that it's going to be like this through Christmas...something about El Nino??! LOVE your white pointsettas - they've always been my favorites.

  8. It is still in the 70's here in SW Louisiana. I got so excited over the weekend when the temps dropped to the mid 50's....then within 24 hours...we were back in the 70's. What gives? Did Mother Nature's radar break?

  9. It is the same here, so weirdly mild but also just dull and grey and constantly wet. It is my idea of weather hell. I would rather have cold, crisp and blue skies

No snow here in the Stockholm area of Sweden.... It has been unusally warm autumn and winter so far.

  13. LOL! I know what you mean. I never thought I'd have to open the windows in middle Missouri in December either! The bad thing is I took out the screens and cleaned them before storing them for the winter. But, today the wind chill is in the lower 20s, so I support everything adjusts itself eventually. I've always loved white poinsettias. Lovely shot! #LTTL

  14. Lovely poinsettas. I'm certainly having a hard time thinking of Christmas as warm as we have been. Hope you have a very merry Christmas.
