Horses of courses...

"The Cowboy and the Jockey"
Lexington, Kentucky

Sometimes when you have a lot you want to say, it's best to say nothing.  So I'm going to take advantage of a "Wordless Wednesday" and just ponder away the day. Well, ponder AND edit some of those Kentucky photos I took a couple of weeks ago.  Hope to have more to post soon. Have a great day youze guys!

Here's where I'm linking up today ..."The Party's On"

Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is Rod Stewart's "Forever Young"

  1. Love that you chose to remain "wordless" yet you selected a photo of a couple of horse's posteriors! Sometimes a photo truly does speak a thousand words! ;)

    2. P.S. Disclaimer: I've had this photo sitting on my dashboard in my photo queue for a few days now...the timing is just fortuitous. Still laughing over your comment Karen, haha.

  2. I too was wondering if the the posteriors was a comment on how your day was going. Like the way you captured the fringe of the cowboy pants. Visitng from My Memory Art's Black & White Wednesdays.

    1. Totally kicking myself that the "not to subtle" reference was obviously TOO subtle in my own brain. Totally missed it until my sister called me laughing on the phone...then I realized it RIGHT away, haha. Like I said, I've had this photo sitting on my dashboard. LIke you, I really liked the fringe and the contrast of the cowboy vs. the jockey on horses right next to each other. But, if the horse's butt fits too...what can I say? haha. What I SHOULD have done was to have saved it for a good Song-ography title. Hmmmmm...what WOULD that song be? :)

  3. if only I could stick to my gun and remember this philosophy. My brain is all "shut up Nicki" but my mouth has already left the gate and rounding the 2nd turn.

  6. I love the juxtaposition of two such diverse characters--the cowboy and the jockey. You have such a good eye for the interesting, Kathy. :-)
