Catchin' a breeze...

"High Speed"
Trenton, New Jersey

Standing on the railroad platform, waiting for my chariot.  Swoosh!  High-speed train from Philly enroute to NYC came, and went, quicker than I could ALMOST catch a shot of it.  I don't want to "Stop the World, I wanna get off!".  But...I sure would appreciate it slowing down a bit.  Time, like the high-speed, is swooshing by waaaaaay too quickly lately.  I want to appreciate the breeze please.

This week's song title is the Bare Naked Ladies "If I Had a Million Dollars".

  2. Oh, and yes, time....whizzing by too fast (I think it's a side effect to getting older)

  8. Where's the LIKE button? Holy crap this is super awesome. I remember that rush, whir, and stinky breeze-the power of that moving train zipping by. LOVE that. Amazing shot. I'd be on print, mat, frame and hang mode with this one.

  12. Glad you didn't get swept away by the train. And, I like that "appreciate the breeze." It could be a new mantra. Enjoy the weekend.

  18. Brilliant shot - I can definitely hear the swoosh. I've just read your previous post, thank you for sharing by telling some of the history and story behind your photos. The photos themselves evoked emotion for me so I can appreciate the 'physical weight' of the sorrow you felt being in the chapel.
