"High Speed"
Trenton, New Jersey
Standing on the railroad platform, waiting for my chariot. Swoosh! High-speed train from Philly enroute to NYC came, and went, quicker than I could ALMOST catch a shot of it. I don't want to "Stop the World, I wanna get off!". But...I sure would appreciate it slowing down a bit. Time, like the high-speed, is swooshing by waaaaaay too quickly lately. I want to appreciate the breeze please.
Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is the Bare Naked Ladies "If I Had a Million Dollars".
Woooo - that made me dizzy!
ReplyDeleteLove this, when I went to Chicago the girls and I took the train in, but no high speed train like this....whoa!
ReplyDeleteOh, and yes, time....whizzing by too fast (I think it's a side effect to getting older)
ReplyDeleteLove the movement and blur of shots like these! I also feel that time is at lightening speed these days. I can't keep up!

ReplyDeleteWhere's the LIKE button? Holy crap this is super awesome. I remember that rush, whir, and stinky breeze-the power of that moving train zipping by. LOVE that. Amazing shot. I'd be on print, mat, frame and hang mode with this one.
ReplyDeleteThat's an awesome photo! It really does illustrate how fast time flashes by . . .

ReplyDeleteGlad you didn't get swept away by the train. And, I like that "appreciate the breeze." It could be a new mantra. Enjoy the weekend.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great shot! I can so relate to your words too...time is going too, too fast.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot! Oh what you can do with that shutter speed. Great perspective Kathy!
ReplyDeleteWonderful color and action Kathy!

ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Man, what a shot! (and if you can figure out how to slow it down, please share)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant shot - I can definitely hear the swoosh. I've just read your previous post, thank you for sharing by telling some of the history and story behind your photos. The photos themselves evoked emotion for me so I can appreciate the 'physical weight' of the sorrow you felt being in the chapel.
