The eagle has landed...

"The Eagle Has Landed"
My front door
IPhone

This is the culprit.  This finch is the reason I have been relegated to using my garage door 24/7.  Eagle?  Finch?  Doesn't matter.  If you know anything about me, you know that...

1.  I hate strongly dislike birds of ANY kind (one caveat...Thanksgiving Turkey)

2.  I hate strongly dislike milk

3.  I hate strongly dislike monkeys

4.  I hate strongly dislike flying monkeys (they are monkeys who think they are birds)

5.  Just shoot me if a flying monkey ever appears in a "got milk?" ad

    1. No, I would never do that. I don't like birds but...I'm not a "bird slayer" either :)

  13. I know people that hate birds and I find it hilarious when one comes near them! Do you run and scream? I love everything on your hate list. Especially milk. Great shot of the baby bird. Is he asking "Are you my mother?" LOL

  14. What happened to you that you don't like birds? I want to know! :)

Not a monkey fan either. They are evil and can rip your face off.

Thanks for the fun 5 today Kathy. xo

    1. Two things Nancy:

      1. I had a horrible encounter with a bird while watching "The Birds" as a kid. I will never understand people who let their birds fly free in their home, haha.

      2. They all seem to think I"m their personal toilet.

  15. Well glad you let the birds have their baby, and you did get a great shot.

  16. I'm with you on the milk! And oh my...Nancy's comment about monies ripping faces off is cracking me up. And, yes I'm leaving monies there instead of monkeys because every time I get auto corrected on my iPad. I cants fix it without losing my comment. Yes cants. I should stop while I'm ahead. It's midnight, after all.

  18. I quite like birds, except seagulls because they like to mess up my car. Thank goodness we don't have any flying monkeys around here. ;-)

  19. Everyone has their personal dislikes. Either way, what an amazing photo opportunity.

  20. Wow, where was the nest built that you were able to get that shot?

  21. Oh my gosh baby birds to watch, how fun. Well that is if you don't hate or strongly dislike birds. I'm a bird lover for the most part. Had a lot of fun reading the comments. Common who wouldn't want to see a "flying monkey!"
