How quickly things change...

Let me count the ways:

1.  My mind (it's a girl thang)
2.  My emotions (it's a girl thang)
3.  My clothes (it's a girl thang)
4.  My body (it's an OLDER girl thang)
5.  My hair (it's a girl thang when it's humid out, I SWEAR it looked good when I put down the blow dryer)
6.  My checking account balance (it's a ME thing)

and...

7.  The sunset somewhere over the Mediterranean (it's a beautiful thang)...

7 p.m.

"Nothing But Blue Skies For Me"
Mediterranean

8:05 p.m.

"Song at Sunset"
Mediterranean

8:36 p.m.

"Water on Fire"
Mediterranean

I stood still, and let my surroundings do the changing.  Just moi, "James Dean", and a glass of wine.  Floating somewhere in the Mediterranean.  Sometimes change can be a good thang.

  6. Yep, this is exactly the kind of change I DO like....I've been going to watch the sunrise a lot more lately and did the same thing a while ago. Just amazing how a few minutes can make so much difference...was going to go this morning, but after my whirlwind of a first day of school, I was dragging a bit. But now I'm headed to the beach....sigh. I'm already feeling frazzled! ; ) Just gorgeous!!

  18. OMGEEE!!! The pics are absolutely gorgeous! I would love one day to sail the Mediterranean sea...how lucky you are. LOL!@the hair being a girl thang minus the humidity. Mine's turns into a cotton top in humid weather. Many blessings to the person who invented the headband. lol

  22. Thanks for your kind comments on my sunflower pics. Just wanted to let you know I don't own an actual macro lens (maybe one day!), but I do have a couple of filters that screw onto the front of the lens, One is a Hoya Filter Close-Up +4, and the other is a Hama Macro +10. A lot cheaper than a macro lens and they suffice for the amount of close-up shots I take :O)

  25. Love that first shot....as a precursor to a beautiful sundown. Sometime about the winding light atop the water delights. A vacation is a great time to slow down and see....that's a "thang" for everyone.
