Let me count the ways:
1. My mind (it's a girl thang)
2. My emotions (it's a girl thang)
3. My clothes (it's a girl thang)
4. My body (it's an OLDER girl thang)
5. My hair (it's a girl thang when it's humid out, I SWEAR it looked good when I put down the blow dryer)
6. My checking account balance (it's a ME thing)
and...
7. The sunset somewhere over the Mediterranean (it's a beautiful thang)...

I stood still, and let my surroundings do the changing. Just moi, "James Dean", and a glass of wine. Floating somewhere in the Mediterranean. Sometimes change can be a good thang.
Beautiful thang!
ReplyDeletenice, might be strange but I like the first one best.

Not strange at all, it is a much calmer photo. I'm not sure WHICH is my fav.
DeleteGorgeous! I love how the sky kept changing.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! These pictures are stunning! I could just sit here on your site and look at them for hours! Do you allow pinning! These inspire me :o)
ReplyDeleteI love the last shot - soooo beautiful - such pretty colors!
ReplyDeleteWhat more do you need? sun, wine, and the medeterrian? Lovely shots.
ReplyDeleteYep, this is exactly the kind of change I DO like....I've been going to watch the sunrise a lot more lately and did the same thing a while ago. Just amazing how a few minutes can make so much difference...was going to go this morning, but after my whirlwind of a first day of school, I was dragging a bit. But now I'm headed to the beach....sigh. I'm already feeling frazzled! ; ) Just gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteOne of the most relaxing things to do is just sit back and enjoy the sunset! Beautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love these. I'm such a suckers for sunsets. These are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteOh, breathtaking and relaxing! Lovely! I found you on Tuesday's Tips and Tricks. I am glad I clicked because your photos are gorgeous. Yes, change can be good.

ReplyDeleteGreat captures of the changing sky - the third, "Water on Fire" just amazing colors!
ReplyDeleteTimed sunset shot sets are always, always my favorite. Such a pleasant way to spend an hour!
ReplyDeleteLovely shots from your mediterranean cruise. Know it must have been wonderful!
ReplyDeleteditto everyone with gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteOMGEEE!!! The pics are absolutely gorgeous! I would love one day to sail the Mediterranean sea...how lucky you are. LOL!@the hair being a girl thang minus the humidity. Mine's turns into a cotton top in humid weather. Many blessings to the person who invented the headband. lol
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are stunning! I love that you were able to take pictures that showed how things changed over time from the same place.
ReplyDeleteSometime you have to sit still and let the world move around you...gorgeous images, the first one is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI love this post! It was cleverly put together and, of course, the pictures are gorgeous! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind comments on my sunflower pics. Just wanted to let you know I don't own an actual macro lens (maybe one day!), but I do have a couple of filters that screw onto the front of the lens, One is a Hoya Filter Close-Up +4, and the other is a Hama Macro +10. A lot cheaper than a macro lens and they suffice for the amount of close-up shots I take :O)
ReplyDeletewow, amazing sunset shots! so beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHow very beautiful...that's what I need...a bit of change ;)
ReplyDeleteb e a u t i f u l <3
ReplyDeleteLove that first shot....as a precursor to a beautiful sundown. Sometime about the winding light atop the water delights. A vacation is a great time to slow down and see....that's a "thang" for everyone.
ReplyDeleteI love how you showed the progression of the sunset! That second shot is my favorite, the colors are stunning. Thank you for sharing and for linking up with Tones on Tuesday! I hope to see you back again this week.
