What a strange thing...

...to be alive
beneath cherry blossoms."

-Kabayashi Issa (poet)

"Beneath the Cherry Blossoms"
Washington, D.C.

Too many cherry blossoms...said no one ever.

Here's where I "link up" today

(Join me on Tuesdays for Song-ography.  Click on photo for full link-up description)

  1. Wishing I could visit D.C. and see the Cherry Blossoms in bloom again. It's been a while. Lovely and creative photo.

  2. Aren't they stunning? I've only been able to visit DC at cherry blossom time once, but it was gorgeous, and a fond memory.
Thanks for linking up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/04/this-is-what-hope-looks-like.html

  3. I lived in Japan for 6 years and was able to attend a CB festival. Ohhhh it's pure color heaven as I'm sure this is. And to see our Nation's capital through pink and white blossoms is I'm sure, a sight to behold.

  4. Love, love, lovely! Glad to see the goofy Spring snow did not spoil the splendor! Nicely done! Aloha!

  5. Captures so well the feeling of a lazy afternoon - such a pretty shot!!
