"Song-ography, the 'Imagine' edition...

"You may say I'm a dreamer...

- Imagine (John Lennon)

"Dreaming"

"...when something is gone, but not forgotten,
melancholy must linger on.
Especially when the dreamer does not want to forget."

-David Eso (Where the Nights are Twice as Long)

I can sooo relate. Sigh.  I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Next Tuesday's Song-ography prompt suggestion is one that came to mind just a few minutes ago.  Thank Thing #3 who is stressed and having a mini meltdown.  Finals, Choir Districts, Waiting to hear about colleges, a play and a musical and all the rehearsals, etc.  So in her honor, the song title is exactly what I just told her...

"End of the Line (It's Alright)"
Traveling Wilburys

Thanks for linking up this week!  I look forward to visiting your blogs.

Can you see a song?  Can a photograph sing to you?  Heck yeah X 2.  Join in Tuesdays on a fun mash-up of photography and song titles.  Each week a song title will be given as a prompt.  Interpret the title however you'd like (I love artistic license).  Create and edit your photograph however you'd like (again...artistic license is waaaay cool here).  And come back the following Tuesday to link up. Check out my rules/suggestions for "Song-ography" at the top of my blog.  Thanks!  And link up here...

The collection has closed. Let other people know about it through twitter.

  3. You and my husband, he is planning our 2016 trip to Europe and there are times I can see him just drift away into the many books and videos he has amassed to complete his dream of a glorious trip. Great still life shot. PS - remind #3 that things always have a way of working themselves out (of course rarely has that insight prevented me from fretting and worrying --- like Alice in Wonderland, I give myself very good advice, but I very seldom follow it. Especially when it comes to fretting and worrying.)

  4. Dreaming some dreams of my own this morning. Sigh. They seem very far away and unattainable, but I can't seem to let them go.

  8. I never liked that song. :( But I'm {probably} the only one... I am imagining where my son in law will be stationed next year. They requested Italy, Spain or San Diego again, not that the navy listens or cares, but Europe sure would be sweet!
