"A Walk to Remember"
Berlin Wall
Berlin, Germany
Do you know what I admire about Berlin? That it is a city that doesn't attempt to bury its past. Not the good, the bad, or the ugly. It is a part of the fiber of the city...of every day life.
Here's where I "link up" today.

What a great shot! And I think I would have had to be drugged to get me away from that wall...yes refreshing isn't it to find a place that doesn't forget the past. Texas is trying to re-write history in our textbooks. :(
ReplyDeleteInteresting mural!
ReplyDeleteI have never been to Berlin but have heard that is a great city to visit

Berlin and its history, sometimes more bad than good. My city, I studied in the West when we still had the wall, even back then it was a very special place.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! Berlin is on my list.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot and I like your sentiments on letting it all hang out. It is history and that history can still teach us something.
ReplyDeleteI got to see a piece of the Berlin Wall at the Spy Exhibit at the Franklin Institute....so cool you got to see the whole thing!
ReplyDeleteFantastic B&W shot!!!
ReplyDeleteTop-notch!

So well said!! And great shot!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo - the b&w truly makes it that much more gorgeous. Berlin is one of the most beautiful cities I ever visited - I was there in the early 80s before the wall came down. Making the trip into East Berlin was one of the eeriest experiences I've ever had. I still have my Berlin/Checkpoint Charlie t-shirt!
