Song-ography, the "It's Not Easy Being Green" edition...

"It's Not Easy Being Green"
Piazzale Michaelangelo
Florence, Italy

"...It's not easy being green
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're
Not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
Or stars in the sky..."

-It's Not Easy Being Green

Personally?  I think green is his color!

Okay, gotta another song out of the vault for you.  Next week's Song-ography title is...

"One is the Lonliest Number"
Three Dog Night

WOW!  Did anyone else notice there were quite a few new contributors to Song-ography last week?!?  LOVE THAT!  You know what else I love?  All you regulars too.  But I always have room for more...so if you aren't linking up but  have been thinking about it...just go ahead and dive in.  If the idea of taking a new photo for the prompt is too overwhelming, then dive into those archives and see if you have something that will work.  Unfortunately, I did NOT go to Italy last week...but I DID go to the archives because I remembered my green friend from Florence.  Some week's I take new photographs, others I don't.  Life gets busy sometimes.  And that is where the archives come in handy.  So a big shout out and thanks to all who participate!  Looking forward to stopping by and seeing what you are up to this week.

P.S.  You can now find me on Facebook. Please hop on over to You'll Shoot Your Eye Out and give me a "like".
Here's where I'm linking up today ..."The Party's On"

  7. You so have the whole composition thing nailed with expansive shots - you may credit James Dean, but if your camera could speak no doubt he would be crediting you. Just downright clever.... I really hope you had a great time with your friend in Arizona, forgive my naive geography skills, but isn't that on the opposite side of the country to where you live? Renee

  19. This is my first venture in this direction. I am all about words, but take pictures for fun. I hope I did this justice. I love music, and the idea for this meme.
