Song-ography, the "Best Day of My Life" edition...


(posting early today because I will be at a wedding enjoying a pretty darn good "best day of my life" of my own with my entire family.  Happy wedding day Alyssa and Matt)

I admit, I have had Rod Stewart in my brain since I saw him in concert last week.  "You're in my heart, you're in my soul" Rod.  In honor of my favorite Brit, I'm choosing one of my all time favorite songs for next week's Song-ography...

Before I sign off, I just want to say how amazed and awed I was by last week's "Look Out Any Window".  What I REALLY love about Song-ography is how one song/lyric can be interpreted creatively in so many different ways.  I so enjoyed visiting everyone's blogs, view some amazing photography, AND read some very heart warming AND thought provoking words.  Bravo!  I can't wait to see where "Best Day of My Life" takes me this week!  Thanks for joining in and linking up.

    Love Rod Stewart. I saw him at Providence Civic Center R.I. about 30 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. Love your photo too.

    sorry for being late here with words but we are in Atlanta at writers conference and so time on-line has been a little short. Your shot is really outstanding, the colours are so strong and the glitter of sunlight in the water is amazing.
