What I have found about myself:
1. Endings, and saying good bye, make me sad.

2. I find comfort in the familiar and am cautious about leaping into new things.
3. But I leap anyway. I'd rather jump into something new, than stay put and play it safe. Comfort sometimes blinds me to possibilities.
4. Diving into new situations opens my eyes to different prospects, and ways to create and play.
5. Fresh beginnings, and saying hello, make me happy.

So "Cheers" to leaping into Autumn...and all the new possibilities it ushers in with it.
These are beautiful! I love the first one...
ReplyDeleteI loved the first one, until I saw the second, then I saw the third one....love the photos story of the little boy, but that last one....big huge sigh!
ReplyDeletewhat kim said, so hard to pick a favorite!!
ReplyDeletei know you have printed you blog in the past, i have as well. i had a lot of trouble with my last 2 books.....wondering if you have printed anything lately. mine are going to have to be re-done. you can email me if you want to or feel you will be printing anytime soon. they have not fixed the problem.
That last frame is breath taking, I must pin it!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous, you've made them work so well with what you've found about yourself :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images and I think we share quite a few traits.

Yes, cheers to autumn! I love your images, so fitting with your words!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite time at the beach? Fall! Something so ahhh about it (-: great shots!
ReplyDeleteWhat a FANTASTIC post! The photos, the words....Just Right! Thank you for sharing. Aloha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful series. I do think we all need to step out of our comfort zones sometimes to discover new possibilities.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post - both words and photos - I just love it! Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat series....the child shots are wonderful♫ My post: http://lauriekazmierczak.com/bean-there/
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful series of words and photos. love the fence and the "little" is too adorable with the curls! this was a wonderful, happy post. have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI so love that last shot! I am afraid I don't always grasp new beginnings with joy....
ReplyDeleteI like jumping in and new beginnings too! Beautiful photos. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an adorable little leapster! You caught that just right Kathy. Think of Autumn as the start of snuggling season.
ReplyDeleteHi Kath, that's the cutest little cherub in your photos. I love red-haired children. I was down at the beach myself on the last day of summer and took a photo of the lonely life-guard chair with the sign showing the life-guard was off duty. That's it for another year. :)
ReplyDeleteAh but without endings how would we ever enjoy beginnings? - Some lovely photos here. The series with the little boy was precious.
ReplyDeleteLoved that gorgeous fence and field in bloom in your last shot.
Awesome post! Adorable little curly headed child! Good job, woman!
ReplyDeleteYou found the perfect little subject, with his orange shirt against the water. These are great thoughts -- I do get sad at endings, more as I get older. I get teary when I have to say goodbye to my kids. I guess as long as we can experience new beginnings, we will be able to live with the endings :)
ReplyDeleteThat little curly-haired boy at play on the beach is a wonderful subject. Thank you for sharing your images and thoughts at R5F this week Kathy.
ReplyDeleteboy, do these images tell the story. Great combo (loving the first one especially) ... and the hesitant little boy. Great group.
ReplyDeleteOhhh are you a story teller! Gorgeous images Kathy. That last shot us breathtaking
ReplyDeleteI love autumn as well. Love the beach shots. We realized this morning that we never went night swimming this summer....now we will have to wait till next year.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post! And those shots!!!! Those shots!!!!!

ReplyDeleteThese are such great shots. That little guy is adorable. LOVE his hair.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
What an amazing storyteller you are! The end of summer saddens me as I know winter, and snow, are not far behind. Happy autumn!
ReplyDeleteKathy this post is wonderful! "Comfort sometimes blinds us to possibilities", so true my friend xo.
ReplyDeleteP.S> love your header :-)
DeleteI feel the same way much if the time, but those leaps are pretty rewarding!
