"Girls' Weekend"
Las Vegas, Nevada (Cosmopolitan Hotel)

A girls weekend in Vegas. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...unless I take a picture of it of course. I've come to the conclusion that it takes a bit of a warped mind to design the decor of a hotel in Vegas. Interesting? Yes. Disturbing? A bit of that too. Fun? Definitely. But these figures in the lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel creeped me out a bit...I've gotta admit. Especially early in the morning when the only few in the lobby were those that were stumbling in from the night before.
Vegas...gotta love visiting. Gotta love leaving too.
It really is a bit creepy! I've only ever been to the airport...Got offered a trip once, and turned it down! I think it intimidates me! There have been a few shows I've heard of out there that might make a trip worth it at some point...but now that I've seen these lobby stalkers, I'm thinking probably not! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose figures look rather futuristic and sci-fi--I wouldn't feel very comfortable around them! I hope you had a good time on your trip! I've never been to Las Vegas. Like Adrienne, it kind of intimidates me. Or maybe I've watched too much CSI. LOL
ReplyDeleteI agree with Adrianne, bit greepy! But a really cool shot of that creepiness!
ReplyDeleteCreepy decoration, yes - but your picture is great!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting shot!
ReplyDeletethis is a great photo-I think I pretty chandeliers and potted plants in a hotel lobby. LOL.
ReplyDeleteVegas is there to shock and disturb at times. Great shot Kathy!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to Vegas. I bet there's a lot of interesting and disturbing! Hope you had a great time!
ReplyDeleteWhoa - that is cool! I have dear family friends who live in Vegas, so my trips are more family time than party time (-:
ReplyDeleteHope you're having fun!
That is very...interesting! lol "Creepy cool" is a good description by Ewa up there ^^. I haven't been to Vegas in over 25 years, but am hoping to visit next year on a girls' trip of my own. Can't wait! :)
ReplyDeleteThey look like they're trying to escape!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteThey are watching you!!! Have a great time and enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI like it. Not Vegas, the art!
ReplyDeleteCreepy maybe, but a great photo.
ReplyDeleteThis Vegas image kind of reminds me of the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report where he is walking through an airport I think, and all the ad images are on the walls surrounding him reading his 'wants' as he walks past them... Very Creepy!!
ReplyDeleteOh Kathy, what a different delight to capture. I would of been tickled pink to stumble upon this! Where else can something like this happen but Las Vegas....thanks for sharing this♥
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to go to Vegas...just to waste the money because I'd lose. Love play Texas Hold'em, but usually only on Facebook for not real money. Yes, the hotel is really different, but love that you shared it. :)
ReplyDeleteCreative shots ~ especially in black and white ~ Bet the weekend was fun ~ carol, xo
ReplyDeleteI might be a little weirded out too, but it is artsy!
ReplyDeleteI am very envious. I LOVE Vegas, the place is crazy insane but you got to love a bit of crazy insane now and then
ReplyDeleteMollyxxx
hmm, not sure how to react to these...I gotta agree a little creepy!! Hope your weekend was just full of fun!!
ReplyDeleteUmm, that's a bit too creepy for my taste. But no one could ever call me a modern girl.
ReplyDeleteYes, those figures are creepy, like something out of a sci-fi flick. So glad you shared this. And hope you had a ton of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt' wouldn't be Vegas if it didn't evoke some reaction!!
ReplyDeleteNever been but this would throw me a bit too! Gotta leave it is a good way to put it!! Hope you had fun with the girls!
ReplyDeleteI've missed this -- yes, strange and a bit disturbing! I love the shows in Vegas, and the abundant food. And people watching :)
ReplyDeleteYup, kind of creepy. But a great shot!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you.. I couldn't wait to leave Vegas. 38 years was way to long to live there.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Playing a little "comment catch-up" here today. Goodness this certainly qualifies for the "weird" category in motel décor.
ReplyDeleteI can see where it might disturb some and probably really messes with those a bit intoxicated!
