Scavenger Hunt Sunday (11/4/12 edition)...

November!!!!!  How did THAT happen??!!??  Yikes.  Three weeks til Thanksgiving.  Less than two months til Christmas.  And not one item scratched off my "to-do" list.  Maybe I should MAKE a "to-do" list???   So why should THIS year be any different?  But I still like to belly-ache about it.  Makes me feel I'm under the illusion that this usually isn't the case, haha.  But truth be told, this is standard operating procedure for me.  A continual state of disarray that somehow morphs into a final product that looks amazingly planned and organized.  Kvetch til I make it happen.  Yep, maybe I should make a bumper-sticker. Better add that to the to-do list.

Just like this week's Scavenger Hunt.  Wasn't happening, not gonna happen, too busy to make it happen, maaaaaaybe I can make it happen, dang it's happening, no question it was gonna happen.

This week's prompts are:  Wild, Welcome, Adventure, Vibrant, and Classic.

1.  Wild

"Once I Saw a Little Bird"
(linked to: Your Sunday BestWeekly Top ShotSnapshot Sunday)

2.  Welcome

"Knock-Knock...Who's There?"

3.  Adventure

"Row, Row, Row Your Boat"
(linked to:  Sundays in my City)

4.  Vibrant

"Peter, Peter Pumpkin Eater"

5.  Classic (a classic nursery rhyme)

"The NOT SO Itsy-Bitsy Spider"

Okay, definitely NOT my best work but...I kvetched and it happened.  Whew, gotta love a plan.  Hope you all have a chance to check out Ashley's Ramblings and Photos to see all the other Scavenger Hunt Sunday submissions that made it happen MUCH better than moi this week.  And as always, thank you for taking the time to stop by and commenting.

P.S.  Did you remember to "fall back" this morning?

  3. On the contrary! I love your set! And you sound a lot like me when it comes to the hunt. I scrounged up my photos Saturday night - even stretched a prompt or two, but hey, it is all in the individual's interpretation, right? :)

The Itsy Bitsy spider is a Daddy Long Legs, totally harmless by the way.

  11. I know, November! I finally admitted that it is November/cold here in Boston and put on pajama pants (vs shorts) and my thicker fleece coat (vs my thin sweatshirt). Glad you decided to join in this week, gorgeous as always! I wonder what is on the other side of the knocker!

  12. I was over at Andrea Dawn's and she said she wasn't going to post till she came here and by just being here she was so encouraged to make an attempt. Well, her attempt is fabulous. Thanks for being here-for all of us!

  13. OMG, without you Kathy I'd still be living in the past, running an hour late. After all my telling everyone to remember to turn their clocks back I forgot to do ours. You are a lifesaver. Silly me didn't even notice the time on the computer until I read your blog.
You have done your good deed for the day, probably many times over :)
Love the photos as always. Have a wonderful day!

Yes - we fell back, but I still kept checking the bedside clock with my phone to make sure it had set the right time after all. Extra hour of sleep - HA!

  16. Well I'm glad you "kvetched" (I'm going to have to look that up, it may be illegal in Oklahoma but it looks like a great scrabble word. I love your Wild photo, and I can never get enough pumpkin shots. It's ok to shoot pumpkin photos after Halloween isn't it?

  21. Oh I fell back alright and I'm NOT happy about it. Hate the dark. For a quick set I really like those 3 middle shots, especially welcome. As I recall you are a huge Christmas decorator. Better get that list going or the 3 Things will be mighty disappointed. Happy day my friend.

LOVE the "rowing" picture. Also, that door knocker is just awesome. I wonder how it would look on a little modern duplex with a metal door. Sigh.

    1. I am definitely NOT Marcus Woods!!! Hehehehehehe

He helped me work on my computer this afternoon, and in an attempt to CONVINCE me to go to Gmail, he signed into his Gmail account on my computer. I didn't realize he was still signed in, so VOILA, the Keetha comment above came in as if it were from Marcus.

      Good Grief!
