Scavenger Hunt Sunday (June 15, 2012)...

Happy Sunday!!!!  It's looking like it's gonna be another beauuuuuuutiful day here in Peeeeay, aka PA.   I'm looking forward to doing absolutely NADA.  Yep, sitting back and kicking up the heels.  I'm sooooo ready to take on that challenge and meet it head on.  Or more aptly...meet it with my lazy butt plopped in my lounge chair on the new patio the Better Half just completed.  Honestly, he ticks me off to no end.  Do you know somebody who can do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING?  Meanwhile, I can't even change the windshield wiper fluid in my car.  Welcome to my world.  I'm wondering now if he can build me an in-ground pool in the backyard?  Hmmmmmmm.  We DO have a shovel, and access to www.ehow.com!!!!!  One of these years I AM going to stump that guy.

In the meantime, this week's Scavenger Hunt prompts are:  Travel, Silly, Black and White, Spots, Paper:

1.  Travel

"Signore Martini"

I would like to introduce you to "Signore Martini".  Yes, my bike has a name.  And, you are surprised?

2.  Silly

"The Bubble Whisperer"

Seriously?  I surprised myself that I actually got this photo.  Honestly, I was SHOCKED at how fast bubbles travel.

3.  Black and White

"Me and My Shadow"

Beach fences and shadows...SOOOOO cool.

4.   Spots

"Under the Boardwalk, Down by the Sea"

Oh the sun beats down and melts the tar up on the roof,
And your shoes get so hot you wish your feet were fire-proof.
Under the boardwalk, down by the sea,
on a blanket with my baby...is where I'll be

For the record mom and dad...this was the FIRST time I've EVER been under the boardwalk...just sayin'. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!!!!

YourSundayBest

5.  Paper

I love a good a good glass of wine.  I love a good wine label too.  I have been known to pick a bottle of wine based solely on the label.  Sometimes the wine doesn't live up to the label, but then again...sometimes it does.

Which reminds me...take a bottle of wine out to the patio with moi today, WITH my favorite mason jar wine glasses.  Seriously, HOW can you go wrong with a wine glass that has a lid?  Ingenious.  Yep, it's gonna be a good day :).  Hope you all enjoy your Sunday, AND....hope you get a chance to visit Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday over at  Ramblings and Photos.

ENJOY...

--Kathy

  2. Once again you are right on the money with each of the prompts. I am particularly drawn to the beach fence and the boardwalk. I went back to take a second look at the wine bottle and wouldn't ya know I totally missed the Mason jars the first time. Very tricky!
