  3. I adore that first image...contemplation...a story! And I miss peonies, I haven't seen them in Texas anywhere. They remind me of my childhood in Indiana - I remember watching the ants crawl all over them.

  8. I love peonies. We have a farm nearby that I plan to visit. Your capture of the Amish woman is lovely. I know they don't like to be photographed, or so I was told.

  20. The top image is just perfect. It feels timeless and yet somehow beautifully old fashioned.

I wonder if you know that you have your blog set to 16x9 screen width and so some of your blog is cut off at the side for anyone who runs a lower resolution then this they get part of your blog cut off at the side. I suspect it is the theme or your custom header. Hope you don;t mind me saying just trying to be helpful.

  25. Beautiful shots. I love the first one with the amish (or maybe Mennonite?) girl. Something very pure &innocent about that shot.
We were at a local arboretum last weekend and I saw the bulbs for Peonie's about to bloom but they weren't out yet- they are such gorgeous flowers! I love them!
