WOW, talk about cutting it close this week! Four of these were from yesterday and today....some while WINE TASTING at a local vineyard. Can I multi-task or WHAT?!?!? Bucks Country Wine Trail, if you are ever in the area check it out. Cutting it short on the verbiage this Scavenger Hunt, still got Christmas be-decking to do and I need to save my words for how many times I'm going to have to tell my familial members that they put the ornaments in the WRONG places :). As always, I urge you to check out all the wonderful Scavenger Hunt submissions at Ashley's Ramblings and Photos.
By the way, I took James Dean out for a spin this week, these are my first attempts with my new Canon Rebel. Hmmmmm, as with most men...I've got alot to learn!

1. Portrait
Man! No wonder I can never find pants long enough!
2. Nostalgic
"Scherenschnitte"

Visited mom today. I wish I had both the talent AND the patience she has. She is constantly sewing, cutting, crafting and even has TWO rooms dedicated to her crafts. One of my favorite things she creates are "Scherenschnitte". It is German for "scissor cuts" and is the art of papercutting designs. Scherenschnitte was founded in Germany in the 16th century and brought to Colonial America by immigrants who settled in Pennsylvania. 16th century? I think that qualifies as "nostalgic". Actually, its just downright OLD!
3. Time
"Homework Time"
Ambler, PA
I will not divulge the identity of my subject. Nope, won't do it. But I love her, even tho THIS is the view I get most of the time.
4. Full of Light
"Dusk"
Bucks County, PA
This sky was so beautiful, full of light and color. Just glad I took a photo so I know it wasn't the effect of wine-tasting.
5. Motion
"In Flight"

And there ya have it. The jury is still out on how I feel about my captures this week. But what I DO know is that James Dean is one finely dressed camera! Bought two camera straps from Gina (Chic Homeschool Mama) at her new boutique Stylish Beach Bum and they are TOTALLY awesome and comfortable! They arrived yesterday, and after my Better Half was finished rolling his eyes at me for buying TWO straps so I could coordinate with my outfits...he promptly put the WRONG strap on James. Yep, it looked darn good on James but it was the wrong one for MY outfit. But it was soooo comfortable and now I know what colors I need to wear tomorrow :). So thanks to my Better Half. Check out Gina's Boutique, she is one talented lady with a discerning eye for fashion.
