Scavenger Hunt Sunday (#15)...

Yi...Yi...Yi...it has been one of those weeks where I definitely had too much on my plate.  Unfortunately, I mean that both literally AND figuratively.  Figuratively?  I WILL be heading back to the gym on Monday morning to start getting that "too much" out of my "too tight" jeans!  Literally?   Instead of feeling stressed about all I had to do which resulted in not as much "camera time" this week, I'm just going to be grateful that I'm blessed to have my health so that I am capable of doing all that I didn't get done. That is, if only I had better organizational skills and didn't get side-tracked so easily!  But I DID accomplish making serious headway into deciding what type of camera I'm going to upgrade to REEEEEEEEAL soon (are you reading this my Better Half?).

And on to Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday at "Ramblings and Photos":

1.  Food

Yesterday the Better Half and moi headed to South Philly's Italian Market, the oldest outdoor working market in the United States.  I'm still trying to introduce the Better Half to all that Philly has to offer, and if I could get a good "food" photo in the process...well two birds with one stone baby!  Mille Grazie  DiBruno Brothers for having my most favorite Italian Truffle Pecorino cheese,  "forcing" me to eat your HUGE samplings, and making me realize if I lived in Italy I'd be the size of a huge (but cute) villa...so I should probably stop watching "Househunters International"!  Alas, I was too busy eating I forgot to take any photos!!!!  Italian cheese apparently over rides multi-tasking for me.  We then ventured to Rittenhouse Square and lo and behold the Philadelphia College of Design was having a Campbells Soup art and fashion exhibit. So much for best laid plans!

2.  In Disguise

"Autumn Masquerade"
Ambler, PA

This past week's Snow-tober event here on the east coast was great for photo taking. How nice of  Autumn to come disguised as Winter for Halloween!

3.  Shapes

My favorite kind of shape?  The circular bottles of Italian wines to go with my circular blocks of Italian cheeses, resulting in my growing circular butt!

4.  Purple

"Artichoke Bouquet"

Aren't they beautiful?

5.  Photographer's Choice

"Melting Snow"
Ambler, PA

What?  No "snow" prompt this week?!?

Another week of Scavenger Hunt in the books. I have a hot date with the elliptical, treadmill and some free weights on Monday. Hope I'll be able to find all of next week's prompts with sore muscles!  Thanks for visiting and as always....love reading your comments!
