Gratitude: for being a pessimist...

...because only "an optimist starts a new diet
on Thanksgiving Day."

-unknown

After cancelled flights, and flooding rains...I finally have all my "Thing-ies" together.  Thing #1 pulled in today after pushing back his drive home a day due to heavy rains.  Thing #2 landed safely in Philly this morning after USAirways cancelled all their flights from Cincy to Philly yesterday due to stormy and rainy weather.  And Thing #3?  Well, she isn't an "only Thing" for the time being.  I'm filled with gratitude.  Spent the day in the kitchen with Thing #2 cooking for tomorrow, tutored her on a few family recipes, cleaned up, and now....we kick back, relax and have fun with family.  So from me to you...I am going to take a few days off from blogging to enjoy the "Things" that fill me with thankfulness.  Happy Thanksgiving, and I hope you find some "things" to be grateful for.
