I've got a VERY cool house. Only the RED leaves fall on my white porch. Interesting phenomenon!
Even the acorns that have fallen to the ground now lay emptied. And a good thing. Just like us Northeasterner's are prone to flood the supermarkets to load our overflowing shopping carts full of bread, milk and Tastykakes when the word "snow" is even mentioned...so too must the squirrels do their squirrely equivalent. They are calling for SNOW this weekend! Seriously?!?!? I wonder if the squirrels have their Christmas decor up already like they do in TARGET! Snow, hmmmmm....Butterscotch Krimpets or Peanut Butter Tandytakes? BOTH!
Enjoy the beauty!

Gorgeous colors! Makes me want to grab my camera and find a cemetery! =>
ReplyDeleteLove the autumn's blanket.
ReplyDeleteI am cracking up here! Just saw you comment on my blog. This is not the first time we've shared similar tales around the same time I believe. Kind of spooky, eh? Sorta like seeing a body lying on the ground. LOL
ReplyDeleteGorgeous leaves and acorns! I love the 3rd and 4th best.
ReplyDeleteLove your commentary, cracks me up every time!
I have gotten many a strange look for lying down to take a photo, although never in a cemetery.
Ha ha, love it! Your photos are gorgeous!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely wonderful and well done photos! Very creative! ~thanks, namaste, Carol (A Creative Harbor) linked w/This or That ^_^
ReplyDeleteGreat shots...but I must say I have never layed my body down in a cemetery. That will come soon enough for me on a more permanent basis. Love the reds on the whites. Have a great day....and yikes snow??
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! I especially love the leaf and pods against the white background.
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely beautiful - I love all the colors...I love the way they glow.
ReplyDeleteLove the leaves standing up in the grass.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful captures. I love your cemetery shot and the gorgeous red leaves on your white porch.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me that you did one of those texture things on the porch photos. If not I guess that I really have to do some new staining of the porch.
ReplyDeleteLaughing at your commentary - always a good read. Really like your third shot with the blanket of leaves, and your captures of the red leaves on your white porch are fantastic, love the crop of the second of those.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! What a fabulous collection of fall photos! The leaves are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures and really like that first one!
ReplyDeleteWhat we won't do for a shot!!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteAutumn is just spectacular!
Great shots!
You are so much fun, Kathy...and these are gorgeous! I really love the shots of the single leaf. Simple beauty, for sure!
ReplyDeleteLeaf pictures are some of my faves and those would be beautiful in black and white or color.
ReplyDeleteI love your autumn blanket...and the single leaf compositions are wonderful
ReplyDeleteWonderful autumn pictures. Love the perspective in your photos.
ReplyDeleteGreat images, am in love with the red leaf! I'm not averse to lying on the grass anywhere to get a photo either. Tip: Always carry a large bin bag with you to put on the ground to stop your knees/any other part of your anatomy getting wet/disgustingly dirty :O)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shots.. Lots of wonderful colors.. My husband always says something to me about me taking photos.. Now he just walks away!!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy weekend..
