"I'm gonna soak up the sun
While it's still free
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Before it goes out on me...
While it's still free
I'm gonna soak up the sun
Before it goes out on me...
"Soak Up the Sun"

...I'm gonna soak up the sun
Gonna tell everyone
To lighten up
I'm gonna tell 'em that
I've got no one to blame
For every time I feel lame
I'm looking up."
-Soak Up the Sun (Sheryl Crow)
Just one little problem. I sure was soaking up the rays the day I took this photo BUT...today? It's raining. And it's been rainy the last few days. Gotta work on that whole "no one to blame" for me feeling kinda lame phenomenon.

Like a lake of blue jeans!
ReplyDeleteI remember loving to lay on the warm sidewalk when I was a kid, especially after being cold from playing in the sprinkler.
ReplyDeleteWe need sun too, rain all week, it better make things mighty green and pretty!
ReplyDeletemaybe the sun with come out today
ReplyDeleteWe are soaking up the sun in a big way--9am and already 91*. When my daughter, visiting from Utah complained I told her to imagine it being 30* hotter which it will be come August. BLECH!
ReplyDeleteWe had sunshine yesterday and today...finally.
ReplyDeleteWe have finally had some sunshine here but it has also been accompanied by a cold north wind. If that ever goes away then it might be time to crack out some more spring like clothes

Rain..so much rain!
ReplyDeleteI am beginning to think we have taken up permanent residence under one big ole rain cloud. Weather app says "no more rain", windshield wipers beg to differ. We're gonna need a bigger boat and after that, a bigger machete to chop down the back yard.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunny day! We finally got past the rain, and we're getting some sunshine.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am running late this week. Sorry about that. Love your sunny day, we are having sun and warmth as well.
