...priceless.
"Thank You Santa"
They arrived on Christmas morning, courtesy of Santa. And they have since been hanging around, taunting Thing #3 mercilessly, until today. That "theater geek" of mine has been playing the "Hamilton" soundtrack non stop for months now. Who knew our Founding Fathers could be so downright entertaining? Or the passage of the U.S. Constitution so intense? Or most surprisingly, that Alexander Hamilton, Aaron Burr and George Washington were apparently also the founding fathers of hip hop and rap? Apparently Thing #3 did. Being a former high school history teacher myself, I am accompanying her to make sure the Broadway play has all it's "facts" right. But if the show lives up to it's hype, I'm thinking a few missed "facts" won't get in the way of an entertaining day in New York City with Thing #3. But I'll point out the inaccuracies anyway...just to annoy her.
When you manage to give that perfect gift to a teenager? Priceless.
Here's where I "link up" today
Enjoy!
