"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I...
I took the one less travelled by,
And that has made all the difference."
-Robert Frost, "The Road Not Taken"
"The One Less Travelled"

November. A month of gratitude. I am thankful for the roads I have chosen to travel. But equally thankful for those I chose to stay the heck off of. I am confident it has made all the difference.

ReplyDeleteGreat shot - and love that notion! I'll have to give that some good thought...those roads not taken. Never thought of it that way!

Lots of roads traveled here... literally. :) Just came back home from a two week road trip, but it's nice to know the roads can lead back home.

It looks like it was snowing when you took this picture. Maybe it is the light. I am not sure, but it certainly is pretty. The poem is one of my favorites, too. I have always been one of those who will choose to use the road less traveled whenever I have the chance.
ReplyDeleteExcellent marriage of scene to quote. Nice!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favourite poems! And a beautiful shot to accompany it. The road you travel certainly does a make a big difference to the journey.
ReplyDeleteI like your comment about staying the heck off some of them too.
ReplyDeleteHa...Great post, Kathy. I, too, am grateful for the ones I've chosen to "stay the heck off of", because I am exactly right where I belong! Aloha!
