...on the western front (well, it IS west of Moi!). AKA, Happy Valley during football season when the Penn State Nittany Lions are on the road for the weekend.

This past weekend I had both an away football game AND a Thing #3 who was busy participating in community service activities with her sorority at the same time. Which can only mean one thing...when my Nittany Lion(s) is away, this photographer can play.
Here's where I "link up" today
Oh Kath, what a beautiful serene photo!
ReplyDeleteStrikingly bare!

Boy, I really love this. Reminds me of the Wyeth quote, "I prefer winter and fall, when you feel the bone structure of the landscape. Something waits beneath it; the whole story doesn't show." The perspective and light are great, and your shots that capture the 'lone' tree are among my favorites!
ReplyDeleteYou seem to be making that trip a lot this semester!
ReplyDeleteWhat a stunning image, it is hard to image that spot filled with people etc

Beautiful shot. So serene. I don't want the people there.
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that beautiful isolated place packed with people. it just looks so inviting and striking, and empty - but in the good, quiet come rest awhile way. beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat is hauntingly stunning!!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Such a contrast from how I am sure it looks like on Weekends! Great photo and theme!
