Song-ography, the 'True Colors' edition...

"In a world full of people
you can lose sight of it all."

-True Colors (Cyndi Lauper)

"True Colors"
Fairmount Park
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Autumn.  Colors.  Life.  As I find residence in the autumn of my life, the more I find it impossible to hide my true colors.  There's a reason why nature isn't afraid to let her colors burst forth during this vibrant season.  Neither am I.  Embrace your season of life.  Let your true colors shine through.

(disclaimer:  I did not set up this shot, despite it looking just oh-so-perfect.  I just happened to be walking by and noticed this woman opening her arms up and welcoming her surroundings.  Kinda too perfect to keep on walkin' by unnoticed. It was just one of those moments that I was blessed to witness.)

**********

Ahhhh, next week's song is from one of my favorite artists.  The artist formerly known as Johnny Cougar...John Cougar Mellenkamp...and John Mellenkamp.  I've liked him throughout all his reincarnations.  I think we can have some fun with this one, and spin it in all kinds of directions...

  18. Yay so glad I could make this one in time! I grew up listening to a lot of Phil Collins so I know his cover of the song better :) Such a beautiful moment to capture!!! The gorgeous fall season scenery really made it all wrap together beautifully.
