"The sun's not so hot in the sky today,
and you know summertime is slipping on away...

...A few more geese are gone, a few more leaves turning red.
But the grass is as soft as a feather in a feather bed."

This makes me feel anticipation for what is to come! We've turned a bit crisp in the mornings, but the leaves still have a few more weeks to go.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the bright colored leaves against the (still) green grass!
ReplyDeleteOO so pretty. I drove from MA to NY last night and saw the early signs of changing foliage!
ReplyDeleteWe are already getting some color in the trees and a few on the ground as well. Autumn is upon us and I couldn't be happier (favorite season hands down). Great, crisp shot here.
ReplyDeleteStill a little early for our leaves to turn but I did see the start of them this week.
ReplyDeleteLet Fall begin. Colorama.
ReplyDeleteI need someone to send me some fall leaves.....I won't see these for quite awhile!! It is nice that it's in the 80's this week instead of 90's and feel like temps over 100.
ReplyDeleteThe colours of fall are so beautiful .lovely how you managed to capture the sun on the leaves.
ReplyDeleteThere is something mesmerizing by that lone red leaf lying there so still on the soft green grass. Don't you just love Autumn. I do.
ReplyDeleteI can hear the crunch of the leaves!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture. I love that song, I should have sung along this week!
ReplyDeleteI am seeing more and more of those oranges, yellows and reds every day. :) I'm so glad my link up worked this week.
