Song-ography, the 'September Grass' edition...

"The sun's not so hot in the sky today,
and you know summertime is slipping on away...

September Grass
Rittenhouse Square
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

...A few more geese are gone, a few more leaves turning red.
But the grass is as soft as a feather in a feather bed."

-September Grass (James Taylor)

Next Tuesday's Song-ography prompt is...

  1. This makes me feel anticipation for what is to come! We've turned a bit crisp in the mornings, but the leaves still have a few more weeks to go.

  2. Love seeing the bright colored leaves against the (still) green grass!

  3. OO so pretty. I drove from MA to NY last night and saw the early signs of changing foliage!

  4. We are already getting some color in the trees and a few on the ground as well. Autumn is upon us and I couldn't be happier (favorite season hands down). Great, crisp shot here.

  5. Still a little early for our leaves to turn but I did see the start of them this week.

  6. I need someone to send me some fall leaves.....I won't see these for quite awhile!! It is nice that it's in the 80's this week instead of 90's and feel like temps over 100.

  7. The colours of fall are so beautiful .lovely how you managed to capture the sun on the leaves.

  8. There is something mesmerizing by that lone red leaf lying there so still on the soft green grass. Don't you just love Autumn. I do.

  9. I can hear the crunch of the leaves!

  10. Beautiful capture. I love that song, I should have sung along this week!

  11. I am seeing more and more of those oranges, yellows and reds every day. :) I'm so glad my link up worked this week.
