Thru the eyes of our guests...

(disclaimer:  for the first time on this blog, I can't take credit for ANY photo I posted.  And I kinda like it!  Thank you to all my 'guest' photographers)

As so often happens when it comes to my own family events...I don't carry my camera.

What I love about photography is that it allows me to capture details.  Small bits of a big picture.  But when it came to Thing #2's wedding...I didn't want to see the pieces.  After all, I had been immersed in the "pieces" of her wedding for over a year!  I wanted to take in the whole she-bang. So the camera got stashed in the upstairs closet at Cairnwood Estate,  and I placed the photography into the more than capable hands cameras of Rebecca Barger Photography (do yourself a favor and check out her blog !)...

...and our guests!  I gotta hand it to our friends and family for sharing what they saw via their Iphone-ography...

The decor.

Things #2 and #2.1 (aka the bride and groom).

The details.

The fun.

The love.

The smiles.

I gotta hand it to our friends and family.  Who knew they possessed such mad photography skills?!? Maybe they should start their own blogs!

Here's where I "link up" today.

(Song-ography is on vacay til August 5th...and we're moving to Tuesdays!)

    1. We went to "Maggpie Vintage Rentals" warehouse in downtown Philly. Had the MOST fun time wandering thru the warehouse and picking out items for the gardens at Cairnwood. I WANT TO LIVE IN THEIR WAREHOUSE! haha. As for what's going on, on the floor? Well, it was some sort of "dance" to "Proud Mary"....you seem them "rolling, rolling, rolling on the river" :)

    1. No...just my son. He is VERY lucky he decided not to round the corner and proceed down the next set of banisters that were be-decked with flowers and greenery! Would have had to kill him :)

  13. Oh, my goodness, your daughter is beautiful!! She and 2.1 look so happy. I wish them all the best.

And I still cannot get over the wonderful way she created her bouquet. If I wasn't already married, I'd try that for my wedding. :-)
