and something blue...

"Something Blue"
We are...Penn State

As if weddings don't cost enough alone, I now have to find some extra moolah laying around to pay off Mother Nature for blessing us with the most beauuuuuuuuutiful weather EVAHHHHH!  Seriously folks, I'm talkin' a major dodge from Hurricane "whatever it's name was",  with 80 degrees, brilliant sunshine, and most importantly....NO HUMIDITY!  Which meant a fantastic hair day for everyone!  Seriously folks, we're talkin' Philly and July...this just doesnt happen!  Since I have no money left, Mother Nature is just going to have to settle for beau coup THANK YOUS. Priceless.

I left the photography for the day up to the guests, and our professional (so I've got little to show ya). But now that the big day has happened, I'm hoping to post a bit of the prep and projects we undertook.  Considering 99.9% of our guests were either Penn State grads OR were forced wished they were a Penn State grad that day...it was a no-brainer where their  "something blue" would come from.  We are...Penn State! And we've got great hair too.

Here's where I "link up" today.

(Song-ography is on vacay til August 5th)

  7. Congratulations to Thing #2 and Thing #2.1 nuptials - love the creative addition of blue and look forward to event pictures. We too were amazingly blessed last week with unseasonably cool and beautiful weather. Perhaps after last winter, Ma Nature felt she owed us one.
