"It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
Benjamin Franklin Bridge
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Not really. But it is today.
Here's where I "link up" today.
Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is the Zac Brown Band's "Chicken Fried".
I just love this. I love this bridge. It reminds me of the excitement I would feel as we went through the toll and were SO close to Philly for a day of fun!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful shot of the old Ben Franklin Bridge.....I know this bridge,,,well not personally but I know it is not always sunny in Philly:) Could I do the bridge in watercolor,,,as an exercise in perspective....and of course as an ode to Philly. Enjoy the sun while you can.
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email, but wanted to let you know that I would love for you to use my photograph in your watercolor. Thank you for asking.
Deleteoh thanks Kathy...off to read the email.
Delete"Always Sunny"...BAHAHA! But when it is, it can sure be gorgeous...or humid! This was, obviously, one of our gorgeous days. How is this walkway empty on such a beautiful day??
ReplyDeleteJust perfect timing Karen...here were actually many people taking a stroll.
DeleteI'm loving all the lines in this shot!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great!!!
ReplyDeleteLooks great - but how did you manage to get all the people off the bridge while you took the picture?
ReplyDeleteArtfully done.
ReplyDeleteThis is perfect for black and white. The bridge is perfect for illustrating perspective.
ReplyDeleteLove the composition and repetition!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great in B & W!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great shot!! As many times as I've seen that bridge, I never knew you could walk it....shame on me!! Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeletegreat lines and perspective. Love this.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! I like perspective and lines.
ReplyDeleteAnother GREAT SHOT, Kath! Nicely done! Aloha
ReplyDeleteWe've hit that time of year when if you don't like the weather, hold tight, it is bound to change before the end of the day - just be careful what you wish for as humidity tends to tag along with about everything. Lovely view of the bridge.
ReplyDeleteI have looked up at this bridge and driven across it but never walked it... I must change that one day
