Sometimes, I get distracted. Sometimes, I am prone to understatement.
"White on White"
Sometimes, I walk into a room. A room in my home that I've walked into an infinity and beyond amount of times. Only to see something new. Something that had been there infinity and beyond times before...yet sometimes, it can still be new in how I see it.
Sometimes, before I know it...quite a bit of time has passed. An infinity and beyond amount of time. I blame it on my trusty side-kick. My camera. And distraction.
Only to have the Better Half come home at the end of an infinity and beyond long kinda work day, and ask "So, did you go anywhere interesting today?"...
...to which I can honestly answer "Yeah! The sunroom". Sometimes.
Here's where I "link up" today.
Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is Nickelback's "Photograph".
Gorgeous photos! I love them in color and black and white. Your title caught my eye because I experienced a tulip palooza today at a tulip farm.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful photos.. A treat for my eyes...
ReplyDeleteHugs~
Oh please, these gorgeous series of captures are too much - that first won is beyond delightful. Have a good weekend,Renee.
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love the white on white ... and then the black on white. I'm sure glad you and your side kick get distracted!
ReplyDeleteHusbands ask such finny questions. Mine will ask "What did you do today?" and I can't even put into words how I spent my time. He would think I wasted the day and I thought I was totally creative and productive.
ReplyDelete...and you probably WERE! :)
DeleteWow - how gorgeous! I bet your home is beyond stunning and comforting and filled with light!
ReplyDeletelol! Gorgeous shots and I like the idea of walking into a room in your own home and finding something new. Love. That.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures :)
ReplyDeleteThese images just make you want to sing, they are so gorgeous, outstanding photography and editing. Simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! Love how you found inspiration within your own home. Just love these so much! Thank you for linking up with LTT this week! Always a pleasure to have you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteKathy these are amazing! First what a unique colored tulip, very exotic looking. I love the composition and lighting of your photos. They are very "dreamy."
ReplyDeleteTo be lost in your art work - concerning yourself with only the process and not the product at all - is a true gift. Your view of the tulips is thoughtful and uncluttered - and I like your style!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots. Tulips are one of my favorites!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! I love that you can get so lost while creating. What a wonderful day you had!
ReplyDeleteLovely tulip shots Kathy. It's been a few years since I did a tulip study. Such graceful flowers. I swear that if I lived in the 16th C I'd have lost my heart and fortune to tulipmania. :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the tulips...............reminded me of the childhood game of clapping hands together and singing "Tulips Together" but you probably don't know that one because you weren't 7 y.o. in 1958. :)
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful! I never would've left your sunroom, either. :)
ReplyDeletehi Kathy ... I know exactly what you mean! I had one of those wonderful distracting kindda days yesterday ... just me and my camera! Love all your eautiful captures!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous. The bokeh in the first shot makes my photography heart hum!
ReplyDeleteI love it. At least you know you'll never be bored, and the results of your distractions are absolutely beautiful.
