Tulip-palooza...

Sometimes, I get distracted.  Sometimes, I am prone to understatement.

"White on White"

Sometimes, I walk into a room.  A room in my home that I've walked into an infinity and beyond amount of times.  Only to see something new. Something that had been there infinity and beyond times before...yet sometimes, it can still be new in how I see it.

Sometimes, before I know it...quite a bit of time has passed.  An infinity and beyond amount of time.  I blame it on my trusty side-kick.  My camera.  And distraction.

Only to have the Better Half come home at the end of an infinity and beyond long kinda work day, and ask  "So, did you go anywhere interesting today?"...

...to which I can honestly answer  "Yeah! The sunroom".  Sometimes.

Here's where I "link up" today.

Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is Nickelback's "Photograph".

  1. Gorgeous photos! I love them in color and black and white. Your title caught my eye because I experienced a tulip palooza today at a tulip farm.

  5. Husbands ask such finny questions. Mine will ask "What did you do today?" and I can't even put into words how I spent my time. He would think I wasted the day and I thought I was totally creative and productive.

  11. To be lost in your art work - concerning yourself with only the process and not the product at all - is a true gift. Your view of the tulips is thoughtful and uncluttered - and I like your style!

  14. Lovely tulip shots Kathy. It's been a few years since I did a tulip study. Such graceful flowers. I swear that if I lived in the 16th C I'd have lost my heart and fortune to tulipmania. :) Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

  15. Love the tulips...............reminded me of the childhood game of clapping hands together and singing "Tulips Together" but you probably don't know that one because you weren't 7 y.o. in 1958. :)
