Where did everyone go?...

"All By Myself"
Stone Harbor, New Jersey

Tuesday after Labor Day.  The traditional back to school day around here.  Have to admit, I rather enjoy having the whole house to myself during these hours.  Solitude.  Plus, I get to straighten up the homestead and relish that it actually STAYS clean for a few hours.  Happy "Back to School Day" to moi!

P.S.  Please take a look at where I'm linking up today..."The Party's On".

Please join me on Sundays for Song-ography.
This week's song title is Queen's "I Want to Break Free".

  15. I was looking to the same here and then my computer imploded and everything went a bit wonky. Luckily the hard drive was saved and so I was able to rescue all my work but it has taken all day and a new laptop to get back on track!

  17. I'm glad you've got some solitude! Your little bird looks lonely, though--like he just realized he's all by himself. Great shot!

  19. This is a lovely shot, and wistful, too. I had to laugh because this fits a song perfectly -- All By Myself :)

  20. A quiet house (well, if 2 German Shepherds and 2 cats can be quiet), is a wonderful thing. :

  22. Really awesome shot Kathy! I love this. We did not get to the beach even once this summer. Maybe we can go down this month. I hope so. There is something so great about the Jersey shore.

  23. Yep, Yesterday here was the 1st day back at school too. It's nice having a quiet house for most of the day once again. Also the start of our bowling league but this week I'm not talking about that!
