Wandering...

"Wandering"
Rittenhouse Square
Philadelphia, PA

Wandering is a talent. To free yourself from destination or objective. To keep yourself open to the possibility of "accidentally" finding something good or useful while not specifically searching for it.  Yep, it's an art to carry out a plan where your only plan is not to have one,  except for the possibility of a happy surprise.  Wandering.  Not everyone can do it.

  1. Nice shot...almost looks like the woman's feet are bare which is a nice juxtaposition next to the black suit and shoes.

  4. It's a wonderful concept, to be able to wander, but I have this need to always know where I am, compass in hand. LOL

  7. I am a wander-er! And that is my one favorite section of Philly!! My sister and husband lived a block off the square in their time in Philly!

  8. I don't mind wandering but my hubby knows that I have to have a destination to be at by dark and know where I am sleeping that night. I don't wander good at night. I think this is an old Irish saying - "May the road rise up to meet your feet, the wind always be at your back, and the sun shine softly upon your face." :)
