I'm no Einstein BUT...

"Hey, Einstein"

the universe and human stupidity.
And I'm not so sure about the former."

  3. Funny but so true! If life depended on the survival of the smartest instead of the fittest, we'd be underpopulated. There are a lot of really fit stupid people out there.

  4. So funny, and have to wonder what triggered the sign?? Do you ever use an orange filter for your black and white photos. Am going out to get one this morning... supposed to really enhance the contrasts. Your black and white photos are always so amazing too! Wondered if that was a trick that you had tried?

    1. No Jeanne, I'm so behind on "gadgets"....I've never even heard of that. I'm kinda "au naturale" (at least I'm going to call it that, because if I don't...the only other explanation is I'm lazy).

  5. Ha! I'd never heard that quote before ... might just become a favorite! Drives me nuts how the loss of common sense has created the need for signs everywhere!

  7. Awh, thank you Kathy! Your post is making me laugh. My brother always uses the phrase, "Oh that guy is a real Einstein". I love how the picture of Einstein is right there on the Low Clearance. hahahahaha.

  10. Haha....Wonder how many heads hit that bridge, before they finally put up a sign.
Of course, one has to be smart enough to READ the sign, I guess.

  11. Haha - there are a few bridges like that on a bike trail near my mom - I am the idiot who tries to make it on my bike (-:

  14. hmm, makes me wonder what the history of this little path is....how many heads got zonked before the sign was put up. And also don't remember ever seeing a sign with al's pic on it. You do find the most interesting slices of life...!!

  16. What an interesting combination of bits in these photographs, Kathy. Love the Einstein graffiti and being a former bicyclist, I find that sign very funny. I would not get off and walk, I'd just duck. ;-> Thanks for sharing at Walk and Click Wednesday!

  20. The Einstein graffiti drove the joke home. What makes this even funnier for me is that I actually know people who are taller standing up than when on their bike. LOL I guess even signs with a few words on them need some proofreading before they can be put up. Thanks for sharing, Kathy!
