This and that, but mostly THIS...

Announcing your plans is one sure way to make God laugh so hard...he's crying.

"Red Light"
(at least I thought to throw "James Dean" in the car with me)

Had a different plan today.  Which included sleeping in a bit to the sounds of the rain on my windows (boy do I LOVE doing that), AND a completely different blog post.  Enter Thing #3 to my inner sanctum, tapping me on my shoulder.  I could only feign ignorance for so long.

"Hey Mom, I KNOW you're awake so stop pretending.  Did I mention to you that Brendan can't drive me to school this morning?"

And yes folks, that is God laughing so hard he is crying.  When it rains...it pours.

On to Plan "B"...

  3. LMAO! Can't get anything by Thing #3! That was my plan too until I got an early call from our "friend" to fix the tv set up. I'm still waiting and it's almost 11. Yep, God is laughing so hard he's crying!

  7. Love the photo, Kathy. You know what they say about the best layed plans of mice and men. Hmmm, is that the correct layed/laid? I never get that right.

  13. It never fails that they day I decide I'm going pamper myself - a day of self maintenance - hair, pedicure, shave legs, tweeze eyebrows - my husband will say - "I need you to meet me at the dealership because I'm going to have maintenance done on the truck". Anywoo - love the picture!
