Scavenger Hunt Sunday (4/11/12)...

Before I get to this week's Scavenger Hunt, I have a question.  Have any of you converted your blog into a printed book?  As much as I rely on technology I still love to be able to hold a book in my hands and have been debating converting my first year of blogging into print. Plus, it will be nice to prove I actually DID something when I'm old older and grey (Like THAT is gonna happen).   If anyone has any suggestions and/or recommendations for companies that do this I would appreciate it!

I have to say, I felt waaaaay more comfortable with this week's prompts than last week's.  Plus, I had some darn gorgeous weather which allowed me to get outside and explore with "James Dean".  Yep, a fun week.  If you get a chance I can promise you won't be disappointed if you hop over to "Ramblings and Photos" and check out all the great submissions for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

I THINK I like this?  I don't know, I keep flip-flopping on my stance.  But I thought it would be fun to use selective coloring to highlight only the sunLIGHT in this photo.  

2.  Chocolate

So, Miss "Happy No Ears" (aka/Susan) double dog-dared me to do a self-portrait similar to the one I posted earlier in the week of Thing #3. I'm no wuss, I don't have to be pushed into the dreaded TRIPLE dog-dare in order to do something.  But if I was going to do this, I was at least going to knock off a Scavenger Hunt prompt in the process.  So I  chose to edit my black and white with a chocolate glaze.  Less calories than knocking off a chocolate glazed donut or....six!  So THAT is what I look like with brown eyes and no wrinkles?   Yep, that's 63.7%  the REAL me!

Well, you'll have to take my word for it that the Reading Terminal Market is one crowded place during lunch hour.  You wouldn't know it by the empty stools tho, must have caught a quick lull in the action.

4.  Wooter (non-Philly translation: Water)

Let's see, the last time I went fishing was..........about 30 years ago right before I got engaged.  After I got my ring I didn't feel I had to show the Better Half what an "outdoorsy" type of girl I was anymore.  I WOULD say he fell for it "hook, line and sinker" but....I think he saw right through my charade.  Not a fan of fishing, but I have to say that this guy might win my "Best Dressed Fisherman" award.

5.  Animal

Wednesday was 71 degrees and sunny, so I went to the zoo.  I hadn't been there in almost 14 years, and NEVER by myself.  But the weather was gorgeous. I figured it was a school day so it wouldn't be too crowded (wrong!), it wasn't hot enough so it wouldn't smell too badly (right!), AND...I needed an animal shot (winner, winner chicken dinner!).  I'm so proud of this photo.  Why?  Because I have NO IDEA who these kids are!  They were just so darn cute that it forced me out of my comfort zone to ask their mom if I could take photos.  And she was so incredibly nice about it.  Certainly wasn't the "animal" I was initially going for but I learned a valuable biology  lesson...apparently a tiger and a snake CAN have the same mom.

And there ya have it, another Scavenger Hunt Sunday in the books.  I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday, and you aren't showing up early for everything today because you forgot to jump your clocks ahead one hour. OOOOORRRRRR...would that make you one hour late?  OOOOORRRRR, if you were on an eastbound train going 120 mph and your friend was on a westbound train going 90 mph and SHE forgot to turn her clock ahead 1 hour....at what time would you cross paths, and would she be late for your lunch reservation?
