Mon Reve...

I would LIKE to tell you that I was saving this photograph of sunshine and warmth for a frigid day.  I would LIKE to tell you I dream of returning to the south of France for another adventure.  But I'm a realist.  There are sooo many places I would like to see in this world of ours within my lifetime and resources.  Therefore, I'm not sure I will get back to this beauty of a port.  And YES it is frigid here today in Philly (a balmy 12 degrees baby).  But in reality, I forgot I had this photo from my most recent trip and only stumbled upon it in my files because I was killing time while "James Dean" is at camera rehab.  I do have a loaner camera in the meantime.  But I'm just not feelin' the love.  Apparently I'm a realist AND a one-man camera kinda gal.

So I would LIKE to say a big "thank you" to the Better Half for getting me off the ground...even if it is via airplane to Europe.  And I would also LIKE to say "you're welcome".  Why?  Well, for all the times I've bugged him about making sure he has sunscreen on so he doesn't get burned from that dang sun.

    hi Kathy! I love Modern Family!! Such a great sitcom that is so much better than most sitcoms. I don't travel much but I would love to see that boat in the south of France. I would. and ... it is 7° right now at 9:40 in the am in Utah. Yikes!!! Oh and our furnace just went out. Super! :D

    My husbands daughter called last night and told us how cold it was in your neck of the woods at the moment... and I thought we had it bed here.

    I love France, and we a bit closer than you are so hopefully we will get to explore more of it soon

    It's been quite warm week here in Finland. Just -10celsius. We often have -30celsius in January and that's nothing... ;-)

    Just sat down to do a little catch up...yep, love that show! I need to send my Nicki in, but then what do I do? Oh yeah, play with the gazillion photos I have in my archives. I guess I should do it really soon, beach weather is coming up!! Realistically, if I keep shooting like I have, I probably only have a shelf life left of a year...sigh!

    Love the show,my daughter introduced me to it....am addicted now! And the your image is great-makes me think of traveling South,that is an advantage of living in the center of Europe-many places are just a couple of hours away.Just to cheer you up...it is cold,grey and misty outside!!
