I love your storm preparation!! And, of course, your photos. They each capture so much more than just the images....they tell a story. What a treat!
ReplyDeleteLove your sense of humor. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteFabulous set this week!
ReplyDeleteFabulous job with the prompts.
ReplyDeleteLoving your Machine, Sign and Sparkle shots.
Hope you are able to ride out the storm safely.
Love that machine shot, and definitely the do not take corn! Great set, and I sure hope Sandy doesn't cause you too much trouble. I feel horrible for a friend in NY, whose husband is in his final weeks of life - on hospice - she really doesn't need this right now! You want to make sure you eat all that ice cream before the electricity goes out, it's not any fun to clean out of the freezer . . . Make sure and wave the white flag so we know you made it!! xo
ReplyDeleteThat machine shot is such a great capture - you timed it perfectly, and how beautiful is that autumn tree? Stay safe - and keep drinking the wine!
ReplyDeleteWow, these shots are beautiful. I love pattern and rock. Hope you weather the storm well!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bit northwest of you so I'm not as near the water, but my sons live where you live and my daughter is in Norfolk, VA so I've been watch Sandy very closely. You seem to be in good spirits, albeit a bit off center (as usual). I love your spirit and the best of photography right in this space. My favorite this week is machine. It is a totally perfect picture right down to the Austalian sheep dog that is bounding up from the rear...priceless. Be safe.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! And seriously, not happy that Sandy is going to take a direct hit at my hometown...scary stuff! Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteYou always make me laugh as well as giving me some great photos to look at! Stay safe, and enjoy the wine!
ReplyDeleteSo funny! I always wondered why people bought things that needed to be refrigerated or frozen? If you lose power they won't last long.......I guess all the more reason to eat it at once, eh?
ReplyDeleteThis series is a great one - every.single.one.of.them!
The last photo is my favorite. Beautiful gold.
ReplyDeleteI love that shot of the kids looking but not taking the corns from the crib!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing with YSB this week.
I like you pictures this week!
ReplyDeleteThe last photo is my favorite, beautiful! I also like the stone~leaf picture.
Fantastic interpretations - and I would love those words for a scavenger hunt. In the meantime, stay safe.
ReplyDeleteSimply love your last photo in this set. Can I just add also Kathy about those beautiful BEAUTIFUL photos in your previous post from the farm. There are too many favourites to mention and chat at length about in this short space but I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciated looking through them. Well done on joining the group, and I'm so glad that while you're respecting the other members' skills that you weren't too overwhelmed and was able to stay confident with your own style, because your 'way' with photography is impressive and noteworthy. I hope you and your family keep safe during the next few days of the uncertain weather.
ReplyDeleteThank you soooo much!
DeleteGeez...you can tell we are sisters just from our thoughts! It's weird how many times we are on the same wavelength! I love your machine photo....the dog running behind makes it. All of your photos highlight "Fall" perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI'm buying wine too! Great minds I say. That shot from Lambertville is a real winner. Frame it, enter it in a contest...don't let it sit unused. Always enjoy seeing your images from places I used to visit. Stay dry-ha!, but do stay safe.
ReplyDeletegreat shots! enjoy your wine and ice cream and don't do anything silly while under the influence - like trying take photos of the storm!(unless it is from a very safe place!) Take care...
ReplyDelete(perhaps they would let you shelter at Bloomingdales with your ice cream and wine?)
If the storm does hit, I'll head over to your place to help you out with the wine and ice cream. I wouldn't want it to spoil, ya know? Great pictures this week. I adore "sparkle" Beautiful color!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh you always make me laugh. Great shots my favorite is your machine shot stay safe enjoy your wine and ice cream.
ReplyDeleteValley Forge is beautiful this time of year. As a former 10 year resident of the Philadelphia area, I always loved going there. Enjoy your provisions for the storm. I think you made great choices!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE #5. Stay safe my friend. We were just south enough on the east coast of NC. It wasn't bad for us. Lots of rain and gusty winds but no flooding or wind damage.
ReplyDeleteLove the single leaf in the stone shot and the many leaves in the last shot. Both are just spectacular!
ReplyDeleteLove the pictures, hate the weather forcast. I'm surprised you didn't quote Bruce "Oh Sandy the aurora is risin' behind us". Not that it makes sense but it jumped in my mind. Love the machine picture with the dog running behind him. Stay safe!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are amazing as always. Please be safe friend. Hope you don't get too wet! Maybe wine is in order now. xo
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful. Texture is the word that comes to mind after looking through these. Seasonal and lovely. Stay warm and dry!
