Clouds in my coffee...

The week that was...

It was a week where I probably spent waaaaaay too much time on the computer.  Sometimes I just get sucked in.  Before I know it...it's tomorrow.  The same thing happens when I catch an "America's Next Top Model" telethon on tv.  Only, I think I'm more creative than Tyra (at times).  Altho, I'd REALLY like to master her whole "Sm-eye-zing" (smiling with the eyes) technique.  I should work on that sometime when I'm not on the computer.

Taking photos, editing photos, creating with photos...is my creative escape.  And last week I was happily lost.  Made a dent in my growing backlog of "to do" edits.  Which was a good thing because I also added many photos to my growing backlog of "to do" edits.  End result?  I maintained the status quo.  WINNING.

And sometimes, I get side-tracked.  Like this photo.  I was editing shots from a visit to the Reading Pagoda (post to come), and drinking my morning cup(S) of coffee.  Making a dent in the workload until I noticed the reflection of the clouds on the computer screen in my cup of java.  Off on a tangent I went.  Wish I could say this is a metaphor for my week.  It's not.  But I can tell you I was probably "Sm-eye-zing" when taking this shot.

  14. Tangent away I say, especially if these are the example of your results - what a clever creative shot ( like how a similar pattern is repeated in the side of the cup too).

  18. Oh Kathy, you are brave. I only watch 3 Realty show and leave it at that. I might watch the Voice tho, but that is ok because the Biggest Loser ends tonight. I watch that and Amazing Race and Dancing with the Stars. I love the clouds in your coffee. Can you "see both sides now"? hahahahaha.

  26. what a fun post. LOL You crack me up. My daughter and I are always making "smyzing" jokes and that is ONE COOL PHOTO. Is that for real or did you edit that? Wow. So cool. Now I'm going to have You're So Vain stuck in my mind all day, but that's ok. It's a great song. Take care.
