Scavenger Hunt Sunday (1/13/13)...

NOT an easy week of Scavenging for me.  Sometimes ya got it...and sometime lately I don't!!!  This week fell into the latter category.  Oh well.  I just wasn't feelin' it.  It happens.  I wasn't feelin' food shopping or getting out of my pj's a couple of times this week either.  The good news?  Mission accomplished on the Scavenger Hunt at least.  Altho, I've come to the conclusion I need to update my pj choices AND throw out the shrivelled up grapes and that are sitting on the bottom shelf of my fridge.  Pretty sure the Better Half would concur on both accounts.

This week's prompts are:  Outside, Backside, Little Things, Reflect, and A Cup of...

1.  Outside


"Frozen Over"

Frozen, yes.  However,  I wouldn't suggest going ice skating on it.  It barely held a duck moseying across it.



2.  Backside


"Looking Back"

Don't look back, unless...it's a good view.



3.  Little Things


"All By Myself"
Lancaster County, PA

Just a little, lonesome weed.  



4.  Reflect


"Head in the Clouds"
Philadelphia, PA


5.  A Cup of...


"Double Espresso"



Trying to shake things up a bit this year by participating in a few new link ups.  But some things are best left unchanged like...Scavenger Hunt Sunday.  I guess when it stops being a challenge I might move on.  BUT, given my frustration levels over this week's prompts...I would say I'm gonna be scavenging for quite awhile.

    Your backside shot is amazing. I took a whole series of those images when we were in PA as the blue sky with large white puffy clouds looked so cool but your one is MILES better than any of mine. I will post one soon though and also keep trying to get a better one but getting such lovely sky in the UK is not an easy thing

    Gorgeous!! Love backside - super creative there! And reflect, oh how I love that building, true I was super slow to warm up to the creation as it was built but those fun lights they have in it - make up for any qualms I had!

    Do NOT move on. You would be entirely missed. This is the one linky I can't seem to let go of-it's an addiction I guess. Your little things scene evokes such a wonderful mood and the reflections up high shot is an excellent crop. As for that last shot-warm and cozy.     I absolutely love all of your shots. I really like the one where you're looking back in your car! But, I can't pick a favorite. This is an awesome set of shots!

    Hey you. I am finally trying to get back for real. I finalized my adoption, girl is here at home since December. Things were a little crazy and life was messy. You know when you have this feeling that is so overwhelming that all you want is your old life back. That's how I have been feeling for the last 2 months. Things are getting better now, but still...I am taking one day at the time.
    So you were not feeling it, right? Seriously? Those are amazing images. Great hunt.

    I thought I had mine all dialed out this week. Processed & posed. Then I look back at it live today & realize that I really am not all that fond of what I chose. I need to step up my game for sure. :)

    I do love Scavenger Hunt Sunday for the challenge it provide. It certainly keeps you on your photographic toes! I absolutely love all of these. Truly. I do think my favorite is backside though.
