Love the title! Fab shot.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a risky move but it got you a seriously good image.
ReplyDeleteAs for my Philadelphia image today I rather like it for it's grittiness. There is always more to any city than it's best bits! It is a city I adore so a less glamorous view is never going to put me off, if anything it will only endear it to me even more.

I liked your image too! Cities aren't pristine places. But they certainly are visually interesting in many different ways.
DeleteOh wow, you are brave! lol...I wonder what that oncoming car was thinking when they spotted you? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
Hopefully not "floor it!" lol
DeleteGreat urban shot!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my, you are lucky those are taxis out there and not police cars because surely one of them would have seen you and you might be taking
ReplyDeleteshots from behind bars. That wouldn't be good, now would it? :)
Well, at least they probably would've have stopped....I got to play chicken with that cotton mouth not long ago...but, I did got a photo too! haha
ReplyDeleteUs bloggers with cameras...it's a problem, for sure! Thanks for this, though! I love it!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful! Glad you made it back to safe ground. Such a fun location.
ReplyDeleteA girl has to do what a girls gotta do for a shot. The photo looks great!
ReplyDeleteVery much worth it!!
ReplyDeleteYou are brave...and super cool!
ReplyDeleteGotta be quick (and good looking to not piss off the drivers) to get this shot-which is extra fabulous. I love your images-and extra love the Philly shots to remind me of my former home. Happy day friend.
ReplyDeleteI blame myself for this......I mean I have been telling you how much I've been learning about your city through all your great commentary and images. And now I have experienced being in the traffic, sorry, being IN the traffic!!! Love the side framing of the bright colours and I can definitely hear all the associated sounds with the scene too.
ReplyDeleteYou and I are just alike! I do this all the time to get the shot! Then my family starts yelling...Mom traffic is going to hit you! What we won't do huh? Thanks for sharing and stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteWow, I don't think I would be as brave! Love the perspective.
ReplyDeleteBrave indeed! Neat image, and love all the flags.
ReplyDeleteHmmm, didn't your Mom ever teach you not to play in traffic??
ReplyDeleteI love your bravery. This is something I would do in a heartbeat, too.
ReplyDeleteYou're nuts! The traffic there is insane!
ReplyDeletethis made me smile... perfect shot... love the green light! RUN! ;)
