This COULD be a leaf in Nebraska. But it's not.
2. Vintage/Retro
Boy what I would give to have a collection of these gorgeous vintage inspired bottles. Not sure what I would actually do WITH them. But that is besides the point.
These COULD be vintage bottles in an antique store in Nebraska...but it's not.

3. Whimsical
What do you think? Obviously a guy who didn't read the directions.

On a more serious note, I would like to say thank you to all our Veterans as well as the brave men and women currently serving in the U.S. Military on this Veterans' Day. In my opinion, there is nothing more noble than the service and sacrifices you have made on behalf of our great country. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm sure it can never be said enough.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by, and you KNOW I love all your comments. So feel free to leave some (unless you are from Nebraska...TOTALLY kidding, cause as you can see I'm such a great sport) and hop on over to Ashley's Ramblings and Photos to check out all the great submissions.
Hope all YOUR college football teams had good refs with decent eyesight this weekend.

Love them all, but especially those little glass bottles!
ReplyDeleteYou crack me up. And take beautiful photos. It's a great combo! Watching the Oregon Ducks now (married into it) and as far as I can tell the refs are behaving. But there are some college soccer reps from New England that I'd like to pack up and mail to Nebraska!
ReplyDeleteAmazing shot of the leaf!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day!

ROFL, Kathy....you crack me up, and I needed the laugh - for a moment I forgot my tooth hurts. Seriously, love the leaf and those vintage bottles!! Well okay, AND the crazy window in the barn.
ReplyDeleteThe American Football allusions are lost on me I'm afraid - do I detect a subtle air of anger/resentment about something there though? :O))) Love those bottles and that leaf.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are gorgeous. I love the window one...that is very whimsical. :)
ReplyDeletethis comment is not from Nebraska :D You have some great artistic shots - like your autumn leaf!
ReplyDeleteYou are too much! Love that leaf - great pov. And those bottles - LOVE them!
ReplyDeleteHa, laughed at your barn shot with the slanted window. First time I saw one of these I thought the same thing, really I thought "why the h3ll would someone put a window that way?" Now I know there are many reasons, and yes one of them is they don't know how to read directions. LOL Hope your weekend is as special as you are! :)
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love these! And, I always love the way you write...good for a morning smile on this end. Love the POV on the leaf, love the bottles, and oh, that crooked window! My kinda guy!
ReplyDeleteAwesome set! We were out last night with my brother-in-law who is a Penn State fan. Wow, the refs really blew that one! Great photos and humor!
ReplyDeleteYou just know how to make me laugh - LOVE all your shots, no matter where you took them!
ReplyDeleteROTFL-that barn shot is brilliant. Beautiful set Kathy
ReplyDeleteWell hey friend who could be in Nebraska but is NOT. Let's hope the Eagles refs don't stink. They need to squash those Cowboys. I'm feeling like I might have to jump off the band wagon if they don't up the green, you know? Love those first 3 images-oh hell, I always love your images. Too funny, not following directions. How unusual-NOT. I tried once to sell a house with a window installed on that angle. It was tough.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking you could get those vintage bottles nicely arranged and incorportated into Christmas decor. Perhaps a string of light winding thru.
Have a great day Kathy. Love that new selfie.
Wow you take your football seriously! Hilarious commentary in your post.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos.
Loved your Nature shot.
Vintage is really cool.
My favorite though has to be that Whimsical shot - How funny is that.
giggle giggle, great set!!
ReplyDeleteI love the window shot!
ReplyDeleteWell I don't know anything about the Refs but these pics are lovely. The bottles are my favorite, but I don't know what I would do with them either.
ReplyDeletelaughing * out * loud. could be in Nebraska. but it's not!
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
LOL and yes it could be in Nebraska but it's not! :) Great shots!
ReplyDeleteSaun
These pictures are gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the leaf, love the bottles and that crazy barn window is awesome.

ReplyDeletePretty sure you don't want any football moralizing from ANOTHER Big Ten College football junkie, huh?
Nebraska got us too - - - sadly.
But I don't blame the refs. I am of the opinion that my boys didn't play well enough to overcome the refs or Nebraska, so they lost by a miniscule few points.
I blame the QB we were using at the time.
Kathy- these are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THEM
ReplyDeleteLove your vintage and whimsical photos. My husband and I were laughing at the window and wondering what on earth it was there for?
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh girly.. You have me LOL once again.. Love all your photos.
ReplyDeleteHugs~
the whimsical barn not in Nebraska is fabulous!! great pics as always... and I love love those bottles too! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe barn is a hoot! The perfect solution for vintage bottles is to fill them with vintage wine! lol Beautiful pics!
ReplyDeletelol...sorry about the whole ref problem. Your photos are fantastic - those bottles! And that barn photo is wild - what was the thought process behind the diagonal window?? Interesting. Regarding our veterans, I couldn't have said it better than you did.
ReplyDeleteYou always crack me up. Love that whimsical shot.
ReplyDeleteAnother entertaining post with great photos to match - your vintage bottles are my pick.
ReplyDeleteWhat can I say? We won! That's what! Lol.
ReplyDeleteOoops, I mean sorry you lost. I'm very sad.
Haha..I was WAITING to hear from you :)
DeleteWhat a totally fascinating window in that barn/ building. What were they thinking? Of course your fountain shot is perfect with all of its bokeh. Don't you love that lens??
ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of shots, love those colored glass bottles... Thank you for sharing on Weekly Top Shot #56!
ReplyDeleteIf you are going to be a bimbo, then I think a bokeh bimbo can't be beat. Love the bottles.
