Scavenger Hunt Sunday (May 19, 2012)...

Wow, what a week!  Did you know that living in Pennsylvania is living in paradise?  Well, at least THIS week it is.  The weather has been darn perfect.  Yep, two weeks a year between the winter cold and the humidity of summer...it is sheer perfection.  And it came at a good time because it totally re-invigorated me to get out there and photograph.  "James Dean" was starting to feel he was a rebel definitely without any cause the past few weeks.  Welcome back Jimmy...I was just playing hard to get with ya...and it worked.

This week's prompts for Ashley's Scavenger Hunt Sunday are:  Rainbow, Fluffy, Letters, Metal and Tree.  And for some reason...it all came pretty easily this week for moi.  Boo-yah baby.  I just can't say that every Scavenger Hunt Sunday, so I'm gonna say it again...Boo-yah!

1.  Rainbow

A rainbow of nail polish colors.  Oh man, if you could only see my basket of nail polishes sitting under my bathroom sink.  It is just TOO easy to throw a new color into the bag at Sephora.  And seriously, HOW can you refuse a color with a name like "Paint My Moji-toes Red"????  Dream job:  Bestower of Monikers for OPI.

2.  Fluffy

'Nuff said.

3.  Letters

"Wreath of Words"

My sister is the "crafty" sibling of the family.  I'm sure SHE could tell you which sister "I" am of the family.  Personally, I'm not going to pigeon hole myself, haha.  But she made me this wreath out of pages from an old book.  I can't do that...but I could paint your nails, how does "Apricot-cha Cheating" sound?

4.  Metal

"Thunderbird" (I think)

So many classic cars at yesterday's car show, I should have taken notes.  All I know for sure is...there were lots of darn gorgeous cars, guys sure like to talk a darn lot about their gorgeous cars,  AND I took a darn lot of photos.

YourSundayBest

5.  Tree

And this is why I always try to carry my camera with me.  Because you just never know when something will grab my attention and cause me to trespass on someone's property.

On a different note, I've re-adjusted my blog margins because I have received a few mentions that apparently they were too wide and not fitting on everyones' screens.  If anyone is still having trouble viewing my blog, please let me know so I can slim down some more.  Man...is this a common theme in my life or WHAT?!?!?!?

Heading out to enjoy yet another day in Philly Paradise.  Hope you are all blessed with similar beauty today.  And if you get the chance, hop on over to Ashley's "Ramblings and Photos" to see some gorgeous photography for Scavenger Hunt Sunday.

Enjoy the beauty!

  21. You are such fun. I love that. Clever take on rainbow-tho' I think the paint color moniker maker is equally a good job. Glad JD is back out on the prowl. My fave this week-that cool hood ornament. Imagine if they had those now. In Philly. Displayed in people's houses after being ripped off cars. Have a great day Kathy....

  25. What a great set! I totally hear you on taking the camera everywhere. I have stopped using my smaller handbags because they don't fit my camera. The hubs always asks "why are you taking your camera with you to the market?" I always answer with "what if I see something I want to capture along the way or while I am there?" I have no shame in pulling it out wherever I am- my only fear is my bag getting snatched or something. I don't even care about my wallet- I would be more sad about my camera & my phone than anything else in there. :)
